Jessica O'Grady, a 19-year-old student at the University of Nebraska Omaha, disappeared on May 10, 2006. That night, she left her apartment after telling her roommates that she was heading to visit her boyfriend, Christopher Edwards. She was last seen around 11:15 p.m., and shortly after, she made a call to Edwards. However, Jessica never returned home, and her family became concerned when she failed to show up for work two days later.
After a search, Jessica’s car was found parked near her workplace, but there were no signs of a struggle. Investigators turned their attention to Edwards' home, where they discovered extensive blood evidence in his bedroom. Despite Edwards' attempts to conceal the crime, bloodstains were found on his bed, furniture, and walls, all identified as belonging to Jessica. Forensic evidence also linked Jessica's blood to items found in Edwards' garage, leading authorities to believe she had been killed, even though her body has never been recovered.
In June 2006, Edwards was arrested and later convicted of second-degree murder in connection with Jessica's death. Despite his conviction, he has never revealed the location of her body. To this day, Jessica’s remains remain missing, and her family continues to seek closure.Last Seen: May 10, 2006
