Arthur Wakefield Jr., aged 66, was last seen on August 5, 2006, at his residence in North Brunswick, New Jersey. According to reports, Wakefield’s ex-wife, who lived with him at the time, left their home that morning to go shopping. When she returned around 2 p.m., she discovered that Arthur and his bicycle were missing. What was particularly unusual was that Arthur had left behind all of his personal belongings, including his false teeth and wallet with identification.
