Patricia Ferro, a 46-year-old woman, was last seen in Palm Coast, Florida, on January 16, 2007. Ferro, who was classified as an endangered missing person, struggled with mobility issues due to a medical condition that often required her to use a wheelchair or walker. Additionally, she was battling a heroin addiction. Patricia also had several missing toes on her right foot and part of her calf had been removed due to infections, making her dependent on assistance for movement.
Ferro's last confirmed contact with her family occurred in late 2006 or early January 2007. However, she was not officially reported missing until September 2008, when an out-of-state relative notified the authorities. By then, she had already been evicted from her last known residence, a year earlier. In January 2007, some of her personal belongings, including her driver's license, health insurance card, and a check made out in her name, were found near the Hammock Dunes Bridge. Despite these discoveries, no further clues have surfaced regarding her whereabouts.
At the time of her disappearance, Ferro had been receiving Social Security benefits and food stamps. However, both benefits were discontinued in March 2007 due to a lack of a forwarding address. Despite the prolonged investigation, Patricia Ferro’s case remains unsolved, leaving her family and investigators without answers nearly two decades later. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office continues to appeal to the public for any information that might help resolve this cold case.
