Michael Britt, a 53-year-old sailor from Royal Palm Beach, Florida, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on September 16, 2011. Britt had set sail from West Palm Beach on September 12, 2011, intending to travel to Jacksonville, Florida, where he planned to store his 36-foot Beneteau sailboat before heading to Oklahoma City for a new job.
