Maria Bolanos-Rivera, a 55-year-old mother of six, was last seen leaving her home in Hillsboro, Oregon, on August 26, 2012. She told her family that she would return but did not specify where she was going. Maria was known to be very close to her family, frequently checking in with her children. However, after leaving that morning, she never returned, leaving behind all her personal belongings, including her wallet and diabetes medication, which raised immediate concerns.
