In the late spring of 1980, a young man named Jerri Dale Lesser vanished while on a rafting excursion in Colorado. On May 31, 1980, the 24-year-old was enjoying a day on the Colorado River near Glenwood Springs with a friend when their raft is believed to have overturned.
