Mark Addison, 22, went missing on September 4, 1982, from San Luis Obispo, California. Prior to his disappearance, Mark had purchased camping gear and mentioned to others that he planned to head into the mountains to live off the land. His vehicle was found abandoned in Bakersfield, California, a few days later, but no further clues about his whereabouts have emerged since then.
Mark was last seen wearing Levi's jeans, a blue/gray plaid shirt, and a green and white baseball jersey. He had distinctive features, including the tip of his middle finger on his left hand being missing. He stood about 5'9" tall and weighed between 160 and 170 pounds. Despite extensive searches, very little information has surfaced in the years since he vanished, leaving his case classified as endangered missing.
