Archie Darrell McKinnon, aged 39, was last seen on July 11, 1988, in Chico, California. That night, he called his mother from a bar on Park Avenue, stating that he was being followed by people. This was the last contact anyone had with him, as he has not been heard from since. Archie was known to speak with his mother daily, and after July 11, all communication ceased. Concerned, his mother reported him missing on April 28, 1989, several months after she lost contact with him.
Archie was described as a 5'9", 150-pound Caucasian male with gray hair and blue eyes. He also had a prominent scar running from his chest to his hip. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a tan t-shirt and blue jeans. Despite an investigation, no substantial leads have emerged, and foul play is suspected in his case.
Authorities, including the Butte County Sheriff's Office, continue to seek information regarding his disappearance, but the case remains unsolved.
