Jack Murrian, a 61-year-old experienced pilot, was last seen on May 8, 1991, in Melbourne, Florida. On that day, he departed from Melbourne Regional Airport in a single-engine Piper Comanche for what was intended to be a brief 30-minute flight. He did not file a flight plan, as he expected to return shortly. Unfortunately, Murrian never returned, and neither he nor his aircraft has ever been found.
