Debra Lynn Bowman, a 40-year-old woman from Largo, Florida, went missing on May 26, 2004. She had a history of medical issues, having suffered a stroke at age 35, which left her with difficulty speaking. On the day she disappeared, her landlord took her to the hospital for treatment of a back problem. About three hours later, Bowman called her landlord, asking to be picked up.
