Laurel Elizabeth Newquist, aged 51, was last seen on September 14, 2006, in Sonora, California. She was reported missing in Tuolumne County, where she had last been observed wearing a fleece-lined denim jacket and carrying a black leather backpack. Laurel has several distinctive tattoos, including hearts and flowers on her back, a feather and the name "Steve" on her neck, and a tribal tattoo on her right arm.
