Judith Osteen, a 60-year-old woman from Old Town, Florida, disappeared on December 15, 2007, in a case marked by disturbing circumstances. Osteen lived with her developmentally disabled sister in a rural area, north of U.S. 19/98, when a man broke into their home late at night. According to her sister, the intruder, described as a white male with short gray hair and a receding hairline, entered her bedroom and forced her to the floor.
