Helen Suzanne Gracia, a 45-year-old woman from Anaconda, Montana, was last seen on May 23, 2008. She had gone out that day to run errands, including purchasing groceries and filling a prescription for her mother. Later, witnesses reported seeing her at the Rock Inn with a male companion, but she was never seen again after that evening.
Initially, her family was not overly concerned, as Gracia had mentioned plans to travel to Missoula to seek employment. However, after several days of no contact and her failure to answer her phone, her family reported her missing. Her car was found abandoned two days later behind the Anaconda Bar on East Commercial Street.
Inside the locked vehicle were her purse, wallet, the groceries she had bought, and the prescription she had filled—none of which had been touched.
Despite extensive efforts, including questioning her last known companion, no significant leads have emerged, and Gracia's case remains unsolved.
