Rafael Eduardo Ruiz, age 21, was last seen on March 14, 2010, in Miami Beach, Florida. He had gone to the beach with a female friend and later met up with a couple of other individuals. At some point during the outing, Rafael walked away from the group, leaving all of his personal belongings behind, and was never heard from again. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and dark-colored swim shorts.
Rafael did not have access to his vehicle at the time of his disappearance, as his girlfriend was using it. He also suffered from asthma and was reliant on an inhaler, which raised concerns about his wellbeing. Despite extensive searches, no further clues about his whereabouts have been found, and few details are available regarding what may have happened after he walked away from his group that day.
The Miami Beach Police Department continues to investigate his case, but it remains unresolved, and authorities encourage anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
