In the late summer of 2011, a 31-year-old woman named Juana Garcia Miranda vanished from the small border town of Sasabe, Arizona. The last known contact with her occurred between September 15th and September 20th of that year. During this time, Juana made a crucial phone call to her family, informing them of her location in Sasabe and her intention to cross the border the following day.
