In the late summer of 2013, 66-year-old Gregory Owen Bacon, known to friends and family as Greg, disappeared from his home in Edmonds, Washington. A business partner was the one to report him missing on September 23, 2013, noting that Bacon had been suffering from depression prior to his disappearance. Concerns were heightened by the belief that he may have been in possession of a handgun and was possibly heading to Montana.
