Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP117423)
In the winter of 2024, a family's life was interrupted by the sudden disappearance of 19-year-old Megan Carballo. On February 2nd, the young woman was last seen in Dallas, Texas. At the time she went missing, Megan was described as a Hispanic female with blond or strawberry-blond hair and brown eyes. She stood between five feet and five feet one inch tall, and weighed between 120 and 130 pounds.
The circumstances surrounding her last known moments are not widely publicized, leaving a void of information for those concerned about her welfare. The lack of specific details regarding what she was wearing or if she was with anyone has made the efforts to understand her disappearance more challenging.
The days and weeks that followed Megan's disappearance were filled with uncertainty for her loved ones and the community. The Dallas Police Department was the investigating agency, and they took on the task of piecing together the timeline of her last known activities. Information about where she was headed or what her plans might have been was not readily available to the public. This scarcity of details often creates a difficult environment for community-led search efforts, as the lack of concrete information can leave friends, family, and concerned citizens unsure of where to even begin looking or what to look for.
Fortunately, this period of distress and not knowing has come to an end. Megan Carballo has been located and is alive. While the specifics of her recovery, such as the date and the circumstances under which she was found, have not been publicly detailed, the essential news is that she is no longer considered a missing person. The resolution of her case brings a close to a difficult chapter for her and her family. The overview of this case is one of a sudden disappearance that, thankfully, concluded with the safe return of the individual.Last Seen: Feb 2, 2024
