In the summer of 1974, Francis Loretta Heath, a 45-year-old woman also known by her married name, Wells, embarked on a journey from which she would never return. On August 13th, she boarded a Trailways bus in Crossett, Arkansas, with plans to visit family in El Paso, Texas. She was expected to make the return trip the following Sunday. At the time of her departure, she was described as wearing a green shirt, a yellow and purplish plaid overshirt, and jeans, with her black hair possibly in a pony ...
