William Francis Horning, a 60-year-old man from Gladstone, Missouri, was last seen on May 4, 1992. His disappearance came just days after he reportedly told federal authorities about his involvement in a murder-for-hire scheme. According to his statement, Horning claimed he had been hired to kill a real estate owner named John Bray in 1991. Three days after disclosing this information, Horning was last seen leaving his home in a company truck with one of his employees.
