Jennie Wyckoff, a 90-year-old woman, went missing on February 2, 1996, from High Sierra Manor, an assisted living facility in Bishop, California. She had a history of wandering away and was last seen at night within the facility. Despite extensive search efforts, including local and regional sweeps, Wyckoff was never located. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a light-colored blouse, tan pants, and a pink and blue nightgown.
She also wore eyeglasses, a hearing aid, and a distinctive half-carat diamond ring.
Wyckoff was reported missing the following day when staff at the facility realized she was gone.
