Girly Chew Hossencofft, a 36-year-old Malaysian-born woman, disappeared from Albuquerque, New Mexico, on September 9, 1999. Girly was in the midst of a tumultuous divorce from her estranged husband, Diazien Hossencofft, who had a history of threats and violence towards her.
