Luis Angel Sanchez, a 3-year-old boy, was last seen on June 6, 2001, in Tracy, California. At the time, he lived with his mother, Katherine "Kitty" Sanchez, and her boyfriend, William Krumlinde, in a room at the Hacienda Inn motel. His disappearance went unreported for over a year, and it was only in July 2002 that authorities were informed of his absence. This delay raised concerns and prompted a thorough investigation.
