Michael Darnell Bell Jr., 25 years old, was last seen on September 16, 2011, in Los Angeles, California. The following day, his vehicle ran out of gas on Interstate 5 near Mendota, California, about four hours north of Los Angeles. A California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer encountered him at approximately 3:15 AM and gave him a ride to a nearby Chevron gas station at Panoche Road, but Michael was never heard from again after that interaction.
