Hildegard Hendrickson, a 79-year-old experienced mushroom hunter, was last seen on June 8, 2013, in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest near Leavenworth, Washington. Known for her passion and knowledge in mycology, she frequently ventured into the wilderness to forage mushrooms. On the day of her disappearance, Hendrickson was in the Basalt Peak area, specifically near Minnow Creek, where she was last spotted by other hikers.
