Westley Allen Moore, a 30-year-old man from Rye, Texas, was last seen on June 8, 2013. On the day of his disappearance, Moore was walking away from a home in the Big Thicket Retreat, a subdivision located in Rye. He walked down the Kinder-Morgan pipeline and never returned. His disappearance happened on what would have been his son’s birthday, a child who tragically passed away in 2010 due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
This loss had deeply affected Moore, and it was reported that he was distraught on the day he disappeared.
Moore’s family noted that it was highly uncharacteristic of him to go missing without any contact, as he maintained daily communication with them. Due to the unusual circumstances and his sudden disappearance, authorities suspect foul play may have been involved. Moore had known affiliations with the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist gang, leading investigators to explore the possibility that his disappearance might be connected to his ties with the group. However, no conclusive evidence has been found, and Moore's body has never been recovered.
