She was last seen driving her green and white 1952 Plymouth, which was later found abandoned several weeks after her disappearance. Born in Illinois, Nellie had moved to California as a child. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5'4" tall, weighed around 135 pounds, and had brown hair and brown eyes.
