Pamela Jean Spencer, a 20-year-old woman, was last seen on January 26, 1973, in Santa Monica, California. She was reportedly hitchhiking to a friend's house in Malibu with her dog, Layla, a gray and white Malamute-Shepherd mix. Pamela never arrived at her friend's residence and has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue blazer, a brown shirt, blue jeans, and possibly brown suede clogs. She was also known to carry a small, navy blue suede purse.
