Shonna Dannette Wesley, a 16-year-old from Dallas, Texas, was last seen on May 29, 1981. On that same day, her two-year-old daughter was found abandoned at a South Oak Cliff apartment complex, wearing only a t-shirt and diaper. The child was not immediately identified and spent about a week in foster care until Shonna's mother came forward to claim her.
