Jerry Lewis Miller, a 20-year-old man, went missing on November 18, 1983, from Punta Gorda, Florida. At the time of his disappearance, Jerry was last seen driving his yellow Chevrolet El Camino with a black roof. His vehicle was later discovered abandoned near the southbound lanes of Highway 41, at the north end of the Peace River bridge. Despite the recovery of his vehicle, Jerry himself has never been located, and there have been very few leads in the case over the years.
Jerry stood 6'2" and weighed 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was known to occasionally use the last name "Utterback." The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, and the case has long been considered unsolved. Both law enforcement and his family continue to seek answers, but so far, no significant developments have been made public. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
Given the lack of significant details in the case, Jerry's disappearance remains a cold case, and appeals for information continue to be made in hopes of resolving what happened to him nearly four decades ago.
