Judy Marie Foster, 37, was last seen in Grand Saline, Texas, on September 8, 1990. That evening, she had been socializing with a group of young men at a local shopping center parking lot, known as the "beargrounds," a popular spot for gatherings. Witnesses recall that she appeared to be intoxicated and fell from the tailgate of a truck, injuring her head. After this incident, she reportedly left with two of the men in the truck, with a third man passed out in the back.
One of the men later claimed he dropped her off at the same parking lot by her car around 6:00 a.m., but no other witnesses could corroborate this story.
Foster's maroon Ford Thunderbird was found a few days later at the same parking lot. The car was locked, and her personal belongings, including her wallet, identification, and cigarette case, were left inside. There were no obvious signs of foul play at the scene. Despite this, Foster's 12-year-old daughter, Jamie Easley, reported her mother missing to school authorities on September 12 after not seeing her for days.
Foul play is strongly suspected in Judy Foster's disappearance. One of the men she was last seen with aroused suspicion when, hours after her last sighting, he was seen at a truck stop with bloodstains on his clothes and other signs of a struggle.
