Heather Bloom, a 28-year-old woman with Down syndrome, was last seen on October 1, 2005, in Berkeley, California. Heather, who requires constant care due to her physical and medical conditions, was under the care of her sister, Shari Bloom, at the time. Heather is non-verbal, though she knows some sign language, and uses a wheelchair for mobility. She also has congenital hypothyroidism and a heart condition that requires daily medication.
