On September 6, 2014, 45-year-old Ronald Loren Leckenby was driven by his son from Aloha, Oregon, to the serene yet expansive Silver Falls State Park. It was there, amidst the lush greenery, that he was last seen walking into the woods. In a puzzling turn of events, he left behind his wallet, cell phone, and other personal belongings in the car.
