On a spring day in Oklahoma, 32-year-old Trang Huyen Tran disappeared, leaving behind a life that, to her family, seemed quiet and predictable. She was last seen on April 5, 2015, after spending part of the day shopping with her mother in Midwest City, a suburb of Oklahoma City. During their time together, Trang mentioned that she had plans to meet with an unidentified person at 5:00 p.m. that evening. After she and her mother parted ways, Trang was never seen or heard from again. Her family described her as a very private and introverted person, a graduate of Del City High School and the University of Central Oklahoma. Concern mounted quickly when Trang, known for her punctuality and reliability as an employee, failed to show up for her job the following day, prompting a coworker to report her missing. The investigation into Trang's whereabouts began at her apartment in Oklahoma City, located at S.W. 89th and Drexel, where authorities made a series of unsettling discoveries. Her vehicle, a white 2011 Nissan Versa, was found in the apartment complex's parking lot, but it was not parked in its usual spot. Inside her residence, it appeared as though she had intended to return. All of her personal belongings, including her clothing and money, were left behind. Tragically, her beloved pets were also found in the apartment, something her family says she would never have willingly abandoned. It was during this initial investigation that a significant detail of Trang's private life came to light; investigators found prenatal vitamins, revealing to her family for the first time that she was pregnant, with a due date in November 2015. As the days turned into years, the mystery surrounding Trang's disappearance has deepened, with very little information emerging to provide her family with answers. The investigation noted a piece of information that she may have been traveling with a Caucasian male named "Tyson," though the origin of this lead is unclear. Given the suspicious circumstances, including her abandoned life and the unknown nature of her planned meeting, her case was eventually turned over to homicide detectives and is now considered a cold case. The overview of the case reflects a deeply troubling scenario: a responsible and quiet woman, on the verge of motherhood, vanished without a trace after mentioning a mysterious meeting, leaving all her worldly possessions and the life she knew behind.
