Carol Frances Norton, a 25-year-old woman, disappeared on June 2, 1965, from El Cerrito, California. Described as slender and nearly blind, Carol was last seen at her trailer home. The next day, her sister visited and found the lights on and coffee still on the stove, but Carol was gone. Her disappearance led to suspicions, particularly involving her husband, Harvey Arnold Norton.
