Glenn Edward McCoy, aged 50, was last seen on February 17, 1979, at the Petroleum Club located in the Holiday Inn along Houston Highway in Victoria, Texas. He disappeared under suspicious circumstances, and his vehicle was later found abandoned at the hotel. McCoy, who was a truck driver at the time, had been in the company of a man named Jean Andre Pagette, a known criminal with convictions for assault, burglary, and robbery.
