Glenn Edward McCoy, aged 50, was last seen on February 17, 1979, at the Petroleum Club located in the Holiday Inn along Houston Highway in Victoria, Texas. He disappeared under suspicious circumstances, and his vehicle was later found abandoned at the hotel. McCoy, who was a truck driver at the time, had been in the company of a man named Jean Andre Pagette, a known criminal with convictions for assault, burglary, and robbery.
It is believed that McCoy may have been taken against his will, as foul play is suspected.
Authorities conducted searches, including one in 2018 at Pagette's former property in Westhoff, Texas, but the results of that search remain unclear. McCoy was last seen wearing a gray cowboy hat, a black shirt, pants, black boots, and a gray coat.
