In the spring of 1982, a young man named Charles D. Smith, known to his friends and family as Chuck, vanished from his hometown of Knightstown, Indiana. At 23 years old, Chuck was at a transitional point in his life. On March 28th or 29th of that year, his family drove him to the bus terminal in Indianapolis.
