Charles Darwin "Chuck" Smith, a 23-year-old from Knightstown, Indiana, went missing on March 28, 1982. He was last seen after accepting a job offer that turned out to be suspicious. Smith, a former driver for a local waste oil business owned by Stephen Cabe Snedegar, was reportedly heading to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a trucking job.
