In the late summer of 1995, 36-year-old Peggy A. Johnson was a familiar face in her community of Murphysboro, Illinois. Known by several names including Peggy Cram, Peggy Davis, Peggy Hufstutler, and Peggy Etherton, she was a daughter, a mother, and a friend. Peggy was described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 120 to 125 pounds.
