Ayyub Pugh, a 45-year-old man, was last seen on August 14, 2010, when he walked away from his family’s home in Layton, Utah. At the time of his disappearance, Ayyub was described as an African-American male, 6 feet tall and weighing between 180 and 220 pounds. He had black hair, brown eyes, and several scars, including ones on his arm, calf, and chin.
He was known to suffer from mental health issues, and there is a possibility that he may have sought mental health care or been involuntarily committed to a facility. Ayyub was last seen wearing a beige shirt and dress pants, and he was carrying a Bible when he left home.
Prior to living in Utah, Ayyub had spent time in New York and Florida, and it is unclear where he may have traveled after his disappearance. His case remains unsolved, and more than a decade later, authorities have not uncovered any significant leads. Despite extensive efforts, Ayyub has not been located, and investigators are still seeking information about his whereabouts.
