Avril Duenas-Juarez, a 5-year-old girl from Madison, Wisconsin, was reported missing on April 24, 2023. Authorities believe she may have been abducted by her father, Jose De Jesus Duenas-Quinonez, after a suspected homicide in Madison. The incident occurred on South Midvale Boulevard, where a woman's body, believed to be Avril's mother, was discovered. Duenas-Quinonez was named a person of interest in the homicide case, and it is suspected that he fled with Avril to Mexico.
