On April 9, 2015, 41-year-old Brice Edward Holliman of Graham, North Carolina, spent the afternoon with a friend, working on a truck and riding four-wheelers. His friend's home was located in Alamance County, less than half a mile from the residence Brice shared with his family. Sometime between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Brice rode a four-wheeler to his family's house to see if dinner was ready.
