John Howard Friebely, a 34-year-old man from Edgewater, New Jersey, was last seen on April 5, 2016. That evening, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Friebely was observed by a New Jersey State Police harbor patrol unit as he walked past the Edgewater Marina and onto the pier. Tragically, Friebely then jumped over the railing into the Hudson River, where he disappeared from sight. Despite efforts to locate him, Friebely has not been seen since that moment, and he is presumed deceased.
