Jacob Bernard Furrer, 27, was last seen on April 30, 2016, in Calexico, California. A former combat engineer with the Army National Guard, Jacob had been at a Denny's restaurant with his mother that day. Surveillance footage captured him leaving the restroom after his mother had departed. The next morning, Jacob sent her a birthday message at 6:43 a.m., but this would be the last time anyone heard from him. His phone was turned off afterward, and he never used his Facebook account again. ...
