In the summer of 2016, a 38-year-old man named Marvin M. Vasquez vanished from the Plainfield and North Plainfield area of New Jersey. Originally from Guatemala, Marvin was facing a period of hardship, struggling with alcohol addiction and experiencing homelessness at the time of his disappearance. The last confirmed sighting of him by family members was in July, though the exact date remains uncertain.
