Wanda Gail Loe, a 26-year-old woman, disappeared on July 26, 1968, from Tahoe City, California. She had been working as a waitress at the Sunnyside Restaurant and Lodge in North Lake Tahoe for about six weeks before she mysteriously stopped showing up for work. Her personal belongings, including her last paycheck and mail, were left uncollected. Loe's vehicle, a green 1969 Buick, was found in the restaurant’s parking lot, but there were no signs of her.
