Gary Michael Kessen, age 29, was last seen on July 26, 1985, in Orland Park, Illinois. Before his disappearance, Gary had dropped off a copy of his will to his sister-in-law and left a farewell note to his nephew. On August 30, 1985, his vehicle was discovered abandoned at O'Hare International Airport, but there were no further signs of him. Gary had reportedly told friends that he planned to travel to Las Vegas, but he never arrived.
