Kimberly Shanders, a 26-year-old woman, was last seen on April 24, 1987, in Carpentersville, Illinois. She had won tickets from a radio station to attend a Kris Kristofferson concert in Merrillville, Indiana. Kimberly left her home to attend the concert but never returned. She did not have a vehicle, raising questions about how she planned to travel.
