Earl Winfield Sheppard Jr. was a 28‑year‑old Caucasian male from Gore, Oklahoma, who vanished on March 6, 1990. At the time he was described as about 5 ft 8 in to 5 ft 9 in tall, weighing approximately 150 to 170 lb, with blond or strawberry‑colored hair and blue eyes. He was reported missing from a boat landing near the Arkansas River, where he had gone out on a motorized boat trip with a friend.
