He left his home on Orchard Street at around 9:30 p.m. without informing his mother, who was asleep at the time. Keen was never seen or heard from again, and his disappearance remains unsolved. His mother reported him missing on Christmas Eve, a few days after he vanished.
At the time of his disappearance, Keen was wearing a t-shirt and jeans, but no shoes.
He has distinctive marks, including a scar on his left wrist and a birthmark on his left temple. Foul play is suspected, but no concrete leads have emerged, leaving the case cold for many years.
