Lilia Edith Anguiano, a 26-year-old woman, was last seen on the night of August 21, 1999, at the laundromat inside her apartment complex in Los Banos, California. She had left her laundry in the dryer and her two young children, ages 2 and 3, asleep in the apartment, which she shared with a cousin. A neighbor witnessed Lilia speaking with her ex-boyfriend, Adolfo Romo Martinez, outside the laundromat.
