Arika Lee Hall was a 22-year-old woman from Canton, Ohio, when she was last seen in February 2016. Her mother last saw her on Smith Avenue SW. Reports indicate that the day before she went missing, she was allegedly assaulted by a boyfriend. On the day of her disappearance, she was reportedly seen getting into a car with an unidentified man. Arika has not been seen or heard from since, which her family says is uncharacteristic, as she would not typically go more than a few days without contacting them. Arika's life before she vanished included struggles that began after the death of her father when she was 15, leading to a battle with drug addiction. She had attended GlenOak High School, graduating in 2012, and later enrolled in the Paul Mitchell Beauty School, though she did not complete her studies. Her addiction led to several arrests for drug- and theft-related offenses. At the time of her disappearance, she was known to be using heroin. Arika has several distinguishing physical features, including two moles on her right back, a scar on her right elbow, and a tattoo on her left hip of "Captain James Marty Hall" with angel wings. The investigation into Arika's disappearance has been ongoing since she was reported missing. Law enforcement has faced challenges in developing solid leads in the case. After she went missing, she failed to appear for a court date, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. There have been rumors that she may have been harmed or killed. Her family has remained proactive in the search, keeping her story in the public eye through social media and community efforts. Despite the passage of time, Arika's case remains unsolved, and authorities consider her to be in serious danger due to her high-risk lifestyle at the time of her disappearance. The Canton Police Department continues to ask for anyone with information to come forward.
